Susie Bubble

on Thursday i went to a talk Susie did in Sydney, t was really great, she is so well spoken, and interesting and insightful. Also, despite the fact she has worked with some amazing people she is so level headed and humble about her achievements. She is also a lovely person who deserves every inch of where she is now, her blog is style bubble.typepad.com. and i think everyone should read it :) I gave her a jacket i made after the talk, which i hope she likes, i just wanted it to be a thank you for being heaven jacket. I really enjoyed making this one, its kind of sporty and sci fi, i love the freewheeling way you can work with fabric, its like painting really, just putting the colours, shapes and textures where you like them the most. Here's a picture of her in it :) xx

It's getting wintery here. I think i would like to make something very dark green, and velvet. I wish i was a shaman like my housemate eugenie. tonight my housemates are going on a night walk to look at the moon. and taking with them spiced mead and caramel cake. yum. it feels like twin peaks. the light during the day is beautiful at the moment, it's white and crisp. I think ill stay up late and make a bottle green jacket with blood red roses embroidered on it and fur inside the hood. Imagine if you could always have sweet pie in your pockets, fresh i mean. ahh, on monday i am going to teach myself html so all of these pictures are in one line.

Fashion Week, Romance was Born show and Susie Bubble!!!

Holey Moley! Well that was pretty much the funnest thing ever. After finishing off bits and bobs pretty late at the Romance Was born Studio on sunday night while listening to Nicki Minaj heaps loud i got up a few hours later (bit too excited to sleep haha) and went over to pier 2 with Alanah and Ange the other interns to get ready for the Romance show WOO! which was AMAZING! YEAH! The show was awesome, Anna and Luke are so talented, and pretty much the coolest people ever. they should be so proud AH HEAVEN! It was sick too hanging out with them and other interns Allanah and Ange who are RAD! i was so lucky as well to get to meet one of my total heroes Susie Bubble from stylebubble.typepad.com, oh boy! and then i went on her blog today as i do pretty much everyday when I'm having my cup of tea/susie bubble time and she had made a post about my stuff, so I'm feeling really surprised and nervous and flattered and wiggly :S :) :) GLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! here is the link to it :P http://www.stylebubble.co.uk/style_bubble/2012/04/upjazzled.html there was also a lovely lady Candice Lake who was taking some pictures of Allanah and Ange and i who's website is.... http://candicelake.com/2012/04/welcome-to-sydney-day-1-mbfwa/ oh thanks susie! it was so heaven to meet her! i am going to a talk she is giving on thursday which i have been excited about for ages and never expected to meet her how cool :o and also Jenny Kee! we were saying we should get ready in 5 mins at 430 in the morning more often haha, really seamed to work out for us yesterday... so much excitement!
